This does look an impressive dome - is that the colour? It looks translucent. ian @ 2005-09-21 02:43:21
Great stuff. This isn't easy to compose but you didn't brilliantly. RainKing @ 2005-09-21 07:56:09
Is this a glass ceiling or is it just the lighting that gives it that glass glow? Rock @ 2005-09-21 10:18:04

Jason,
This is a great shot. Love the colors. What camera are you using?
If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a question? Each of your pages' background colors seems to match the photo on the page. Is this something you are doing manually, or is there an automatic process at work here? Would you mind filling me in on how that works? If not, I completely understand.
Keep up the good work.
P.S. I graduated from high school in Springfield, MO. Now live in Berlin, NJ.

I'm using a Nikon D70.
The background color is kinda modification of Pixelpost.
What I did was add a field to the database behind the pixel post which I store the color of the background that I want each picture to use.
Most of the time I just use a color picker program to get a color from within the picture it doesn't pick the color automatically.
Then I edited the admin pages so I could add the color at the time I uploaded each image.
Then I edited the main image page of my template to draw from that field as the background color.
It took me a day or two to get it working just right.
I've thought about making up instructions and putting them as a modification on PixelPost's website, but haven't got around to it and haven't had anyone else ask about it.
